He strongly defended the Trump Administration's actions.

Homan at Legislature Border Czar addresses a joint session of the Arizona Legislature.

President Trump’s Border Czar addressed a joint session of the legislature Tuesday. During his 25-minute speech, Tom Homan attacked Biden Administration policies and praised the work of Border Patrol and ICE agents since Inauguration Day.

"This administration, right now in power, for the first time in history of this nation is going to have total operational control of our Southern border, under President Trump, its gonna happen (long pause) you can take that to the bank," Homan said.

Homan was unapologetic about the mass deportations and said more are to come. He said his goal is to rid the country of undocumented people who have committed crimes as well as any other undocumented people agents find with them.

"And I will not rest if every member of TDA and MS-13 is eradicated from this country, then I'll take a day off. Until then, hate on me all you want. I know I got a lot of haters in this room, but I don't give a s%*t. We're gonna get this job done with no apologies. When we're done, we have the most secure border in the history of this nation," he said.

At the end of his speech, Homan promised Cochise County Sheriff Mark Dannels and other law enforcement officers in the chamber that he is ready to help.

Homan's speech was officially to a joint session of the legislature, but few if any Democrats were in the room.
