Arizona gamblers bet nearly $319 million in the month of June, according to a new report from the Arizona Department of Gaming.

Since H.B. 2772 legalized sports betting in September 2021, the state has brought in over $17 million in revenue.

Events like the NBA finals as well as the start of the professional baseball season brought in $750 thousand dollars in June alone.

Mobile betting apps such as FanDuel and DraftKings make up nearly all of the bets placed during the month.

Arizonans received $306 million in payouts, leaving a little over $12 million in profit for gambling platforms.

The state ranked sixth in the country for the amount of money bet in June.
